The concept of a person doesn’t really make sense from a singular, solitary point of view.
Because a person is only a person as long as it’s interacting, reflecting itself onto others.
If a human was to be raised away from others it would cease to be a Person and would only remain as an empty shell. A Human.
But from the moment of contact with this Human the seeds of a personality would take growth, and what was once a mere shell would start to transform into a Living, Breathing, Person.
A throw of the dice,
That’s all you are.
All you will be.
A coincidence, as such
Randomness rules our lives.
It’s the force that shakes our box,
The one we call life.
The way to succeed is to take the seed we are dealt,
Plant it,
And nurture it.
Don’t grow it to the flower it wants to be,
Grow it to the Flower you desire.
I Pray for the lost soul.
For the wolf who strayed from the path.
I Pray for the lonely.
For the girl crying herself to sleep.
I Pray for the brave.
For the knight facing a fearsome dragon.
I Pray for the sick.
For the mother on her deathbed.
I Pray for The Prayer.
That he one day might take action.
The horsemen of the winters watch come riding by force
As they devour the lands with hearts of cold.
With them they bring a strange peace
A slumber numbing enough
To entangle you in the landscape of winter
From which there exists no escape.
As the darkness thickens
The escape grows to only a sliver of hope
In the naive mind of the child.
Desolating,
Beautiful,
Horrifying,
Winter.
It all withers and dies
Friends grow cold
Relations lost.
After all
What matters a single voice
In a world turned to ice.
In the end of a long winter shines the sun.
Failure doesn’t have to be seen as a negative state, but as a proof of your own individuality. Because often times there is one way of succeeding but infinite ways to fail.
History is passed down through the Bards songs.
But when all is said and done
Only the loudest ones resonate throughout time.
Thus History loses its depth as quiet mumbles fall upon deaf ears.
I walk along the empty street, slowly making my way forwards. Not because i want to, because i'm too afraid to stop. There was once someone who carried me, pushed me, made sure i didn’t fall.
They’re long gone now, never to be seen again.
Suddenly you walked by my side. I didn’t see you coming so I just smiled my usual smile. My mask. You threw it away and made me cry. You knew i wanted this, you cared for me, you lifted me up above the clouds and made me fly.
I laughed.
You let go.
I fell.
As i'm falling i think about you, you only cared about removing the mask, you wanted to carry me. You wanted to teach me how to fly.
